I have made this video as I have found out that the previous animatic storyboard that I have made is on animoto and this made the video inaccurate, therefore it was no use, this video has every shot that we will be having in our music video and they are all in sequence order, in the background there is the song to give it a maximum effect on what it will actually be like and to also help with the timing....

Excellent. That's much better Darren. To try and squeeze as many marks and demonstrate all your research and planning skills try and add lyrics to the animatic. By that I mean write down which lyrics which go with each shot, this will also help you when your filming as if you can get wifi or 3G at the carpark you can watch YouTube and check the filming against the animatic and the storyboard.
ReplyDeleteTry and get some feedback on the animatic from friends, is 40 seconds of narrative prior to the song too much? (think about practicality for you in terms of time available as well). Is the video quick enough/too quick? Do they understand the narrative? etc.
Some things that need urgent attention prior to filming.
1. In the animatic you've got the equipment being plugged in whilst music is playing (47 to 57 seconds), that shouldn't happen.
2. At 1min 12 you've got the singer singing yet there are no vocals at that point (nor will there be for a further 10 seconds).
3. You've got a shot of the guitarist playing (1min 1) when the guitar isn't in the song.
These will need correcting as currently it makes the video very confusing
